Peacock Cake

So I was asked to create a birthday cake for a lady from church. the person ordering didnt have any exact vision, she just wanted it to be fun and reflect the celebrated birthday girl. The directions, "Surprise me!".  I love the opportunity to be creative, but I also stress when I don't know the recepient! So I went researching the birthday girl's Pinterest board! :) I discovered that she likes chocolate and strawberries, shoes (high heels), and peacock feathers. I muddled through a few ideas and set out to create a chocolate cake with some flair/fun, unique qaulity to it. So, I created the following...now the cake:
Details: rich chocolate cake, strawberry swiss meringue buttercream frosting filling and american chocolate buttercream for the frosting!
